Li Ding (1929~ ), courtesy name Yangyuan, born in Yongkang, Zhejiang Province, is a tenured professor and doctoral supervisor of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a disciple of Liao Ping, a master of classics, and enjoys special allowances from the State Council of China. In 1954, he entered the Shanghai Public Medical TCM Clinic, and in 1956, he was transferred to the Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He served as the deputy director of the Literature Theory Research Office of the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the director of the Acupuncture Teaching and Research Office, and a member of the China International Acupuncture and Moxibustion Examination Committee of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of China.
Now he is the instructor of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s Inheritance Studio of Famous Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors, the deputy director of the Academic Committee of the Acupuncture Theory and Methodology Research Office of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the consultant of the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies Inheritance Working Committee, and the representative inheritor of the fifth group of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage “Acupuncture” project, and a famous Chinese medicine practitioner in Shanghai. He is one of the main founders of the higher professional education for Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture in China, one of the pioneers for the spreading of acupuncture and moxibustion overseas.

PhD in Medicine; licensed acupuncturist in Minnesota; well-known acupuncturist and professor of acupuncture and moxibustion in US, doctoral instructor in OCOM in US; the first batch of distinguished professors and a member of the expert committee of the Sino-American Institute of Acupuncture and Rehabilitation; visiting professor of Guangzhou TCM University, New Zealand TCM University and other universities; One of the first 10 overseas Chinese Medicine experts shortlisted in the “Hundred Talents and Hundred Items” project of Chinese medicine; executive director of the World Chinese Medicine Forum; director of the World Federation of Chinese Youth Associations; an expert donated treasure in the 11th “Xinglin Treasure Hunt” of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Professor Liu Wei is diligent in his studies, has a solid foundation, and is an expert in classical acupuncture. He has created five original acupuncture systems including Liu’s scalp acupuncture, Liu’s abdominal acupuncture, and tension traction acupuncture, and dozens of original acupuncture prescriptions. He has established his unique acupuncture style, which earns him the title of “acupuncture master.” Professor Liu has long been committed to promoting the inheritance and development of traditional acupuncture.

Professor Zuo Changbo is the president of Macau Acupuncture Society and serves as a doctoral instructor for acupuncture at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He established Zuo Changbo International Acupuncture Research Center at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and serves as a visiting professor at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Based on traditional acupuncture and moxibustion, Prof. Zuo Changbo has treasured the essential of Dan Dao, branched out the one-line ruled vessel theory and created an unique acupuncture system to explore a universal law of acupuncture which can get rid disease and prolong life.

Professor Lu, Biao
Professor Lu graduated from Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1984 and studied under Professor Zheng Kuishan for 2 years. In 1986, he studied as a graduate student under Professor Yang Jiasan. He has practiced medicine in Los Angeles since 1991. He is an expert with the needle manipulation techniques such as “burning mountain fire”, “cooling the sky”, and needle jumping techniques. These needle manipulation techniques may raise or lower the temperature of the local area by more than 4 degrees Celsius. He collaborated with “Record Traditional Chinese Medicine” to shoot a film about the “burning mountain fires and cooling the sky” technique and was interviewed in the film “Millennium Traditional Chinese Medicine”. Recently, he has cooperated with “Traditional Chinese Medicine Experts” and “Qihuang Live”, launching several in-person and live online courses. He has trained more than a thousand students around the world.
