Application of Distal Points for Treating Soft Tissue Injuries — by professor Ning Pan
Professor Ning Pan graduated from Guangzhou TCM College and South Baylo University. He studied with Jin Rui, Peng Jingshan, Li Huanyan, and Qian Zuoyao, prominent practitioners in acupuncture, TCM and western medicine. Dr. Pan has been practicing and teaching acupuncture for more than 25 years in China, Japan, and the United States. He is currently a core faculty member at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. His specialties include pain management, sports injuries, soft tissue injuries, neurological disorders, and stress-related disorders. He has published several papers in these areas.

Dr. Sherry Yang has practiced and managed the Berkeley Acupuncture Center since 2003. She has also engaged in teaching WM and TCM courses such as WM Diagnosis, WM Science I and II, TCM Diagnosis I and II, Integrated TCM and WM, and TCM Gynecology in ACCHS and ACTCM respectively since 2000. Sherry served as an Expert Consultant for California Acupuncture Board from 2014 to 2017.
Sherry Yang got her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2012 from ACTCM, Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2003 from ACCHS, and Bachelor of Medicine from Shanghai Medical University in 1985.
3, Beyond Acupuncture —-3D Needling — by William Dawson, DAOM, L. Ac., NCCAOM
Professor Dawson is a lecturer at California’s University of Herbal Medicine and every year in August he is a guest lecturer at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in Beijing. He is the only Non Chinese 5th generation Inheritor of Dr. Cheng Xin Nong Acupuncture lineage and a long time follower of his grandson Dr. Cheng Kai. Together Dr. Cheng Kai and Dr. Dawson travel worldwide lecturing and appearing on television programs.
Last fall Dr. Dawson edited Cheng Xin Nong’s book Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion, commonly called CAM. Every August 10 doctors follow Dr. Dawson to observe in the largest acupuncture hospital in Beijing for advanced training and certification. Since 2008 he has been practicing Neurology at his Sunnyvale clinic with the inventor of head needle therapy Dr.Jiao Shunfa for stroke and Parkinson’s patients.
4, An Introduction to the Miracles of Auricular Medicine — by Truthsayer , DAOM, L. Ac
Dr. Truthsayer has been a disciple of Dr. Huang Li Chun, WHO pronounced world leader of Auricular Medicine. Dr TruthSayer has presented at two World Academy of Auricular Medicine international conferences , 2009 and 2012, Auricular Medicine and Psychology and The Effectiveness of Auricular Medicine in Treating Psychological and Physiological Conditions of Neuroendocrine Disorders. She teaches at the Institute of Auricular and Transcendental Medicine and practices in her clinic – Transcendental Acupuncture in Central San Rafael CA.
