Biography
Professor Miao is an expert in Athletic Rehabilitation Methodology. His training program is well-known by most public hospitals and fitness clubs in China.
Professor Miao has given more than 500 lectures and trainings to over 100,000 trainees in the past three years. Among these are physicians, gymnastic trainers, rehabilitation teachers from all over the world. He is the first Chinese trainer / athletics rehabilitation professor to practice globally. Besides, he is world’s first fitness coach to train medical doctors.
Professor Miao has dedicated to studying anatomy of muscle functions, rehabilitation exercises, and biomechanics of lower extremities for more than a decade. In particular, his theory and training methodologies on evaluation of muscular dynamics and functions prior to stretching exercises havebeen widely used by several physicians in the clinical diagnosis and treatment process. His methodology is also transforming clinical practice in many of the hospitals. Traditional practice relies on static methods for diagnosing soft tissue disorders, a method which does not account for the dynamics of motion. Professor Miao’s method, on the other hand, takes a more holistic approach, which to assesses and considers the interaction among different parts of humanbody, that is required to achieve stability and coordination for each movement. This method has been shown to accelerate and enhance the efficacy of medical treatment, rehabilitation and fitness exercises. As a result, Professor Miao is the representative of Chinese Natural Physiotherapy.
