Speaker Profile and Topic
Guoping Zheng, OMD, PhD, L.Ac, director of The Center for Natural Fertility and Woman’s Health in New York. She had a Doctoral of Medicine degree at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in 1992 under the tutor of world famous TCM Gynecology Professor Luo. Yuankai. She is an active TCM Gynecology lecturer and researcher in United States, and faculty of several colleges. She had more than a dozen of academic papers published on the authority journals.
She graduated from Fujian College of TCM in 1980 and was admitted to Hubei College of TCM in 1983 to pursue a master’s degree in gynecology. Her mentor was a famous doctor in central China: Dr. Huang, Shengwu. She returned to work at the Department of Gynecology, Fujian College of TCM after graduation. She was admitted to Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1986 as a doctoral student. She studied under the mentor of TCM gynecology authority master: Professor Luo, Yuankai. Her major was the influence of Chinese medicine on female endocrinology. After graduating, she immigrated to New York and opened a gynecological and infertility specialist clinic for 25 years. She practiced the “Kidney-based” academic theory of the two mentors in the clinic, summarized and created a combination of acupuncture and Chinese medicine approach to help the pregnant. She advocates combining Chinese medicine, acupuncture and cupping, focusing on people-oriented with emotional counseling. She had healed a lot of refractory infertility. In addition, she has served as vice president of the American Association of the Chinese Academy of Medicine and Acupuncture, director member of the Gynecology Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Association, and executive director of the Reproductive Medicine Committee.
